National Institute of Intellectual Property
Today, a ceremonial event dedicated to the beginning of the activity of the National Institute of Intellectual Property (Qazpatent) was held at the Institute’s premises.
The National Patent Office (Qazpatent) was established by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 806 of June 23, 1992, “On the National Patent Office under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Kazakhstan.”
Subsequently, by Resolution of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 756 of July 11, 2002, the National Institute of Intellectual Property of the Committee on Intellectual Property Rights of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan was formed and officially began its activity on September 19, 2003.
The Institute is the successor of the National Patent Office established in 1992.
Director of Qazpatent, Sabit Akhmetov, congratulated the staff on this memorable date, noting that over the years the Institute has become an important part of the national system of intellectual property protection and has made a significant contribution to the development of the country’s innovation potential.
In his address, the Director emphasized that the achievements of Qazpatent are the result of the professionalism, unity, and dedication of each employee. He wished the team continued success, the implementation of new initiatives, good health, and prosperity.
As part of the event, certificates of recognition were presented to employees who demonstrated high performance and active participation in the Institute’s activities.
The celebration was held in an atmosphere of unity and pride in the history and achievements of the National Institute of Intellectual Property.
