Term of rendering of the state service - within one working day following the day of receipt of the application by the service recipient. Technical errors may be corrected in the Register, which do not change the affiliation, nature or content of the entered information, within one working day from the date of receipt of the service recipient's application.

Issuance of a certificate on entering information into the Register (according to Annex 4 to the Rules for entering information and its changes into the State Register of Rights to Copyrighted Objects (hereinafter referred to as the Rules), as well as entering information into the Register, or a reasoned refusal to provide the state service

The amount of payment charged from the service recipient when rendering a public service and methods of its collection in cases stipulated by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan

The state service is rendered on a paid basis to individuals (hereinafter referred to as the service recipient) in accordance with the Prices for services in terms of entering data into the State Register of Rights to Copyrighted Objects (hereinafter referred to as the Prices) and placed on the official websites of the authorized body www.adilet.gov.kz and the service provider www.qazpatent.kz.

The service provider charges a fee for entering information into the Register, which is paid by the applicant through the personal cabinet of the web-portal. If necessary, the applicant submits a copy of the document confirming the grounds for reducing the amount of payment. Payment is made by cashless method through the payment gateway of the bank of the second level integrated with the information system of the service provider newcab.qazpatent.kz.
The basis for the fee reduction are benefits that are provided to the following individuals:
1)participants of the Great Patriotic War and persons equated to them in accordance with Article 10 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan of April 28, 1995 “On benefits and social protection of participants, disabled veterans of the Great Patriotic War and persons equated to them” (hereinafter - the Law of April 28, 1995) shall submit: a copy of the certificate of the participant of the Great Patriotic War, or a copy of the pension certificate with a mark on the right to benefits, or a copy of the certificate to the medal “For the Defense of Leningrad” or to the sign “Resident of the Siege of Leningrad”, or a copy of the certificate of a former minor prisoner, or an archival certificate of forced detention in concentration camps, ghettos and other places of forced detention created by the Nazis and their allies during the Second World War, or a copy of certificates from the military commissariat confirming participation in hostilities on the territory of other states, or a copy of a military ticket with a note of participation in hostilities on the territory of other states, or a copy of a document confirming service work for the Soviet military contingent in Afghanistan, or a copy of medical documents confirming wounding, contusion, or mutilation,or a copy of the certificate to the orders and medals of the former USSR for participation in ensuring combat operations, or a copy of the certificate of a participant in the elimination of the consequences of the Chernobyl disaster, or a copy of the document confirming participation in the elimination of the consequences of the Chernobyl disaster or other radiation disasters and accidents at civilian or military facilities, participation directly in nuclear tests and exercises, or a copy of the certificate from the Military Commissariat or the Committee for Emergency Situations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, confirming the fact of participation in the elimination of radiation disasters and accidents at military or civilian facilities, participation directly in nuclear tests and exercises; persons awarded orders and medals of the former USSR for selfless work and impeccable military service in the rear during the Great Patriotic War, persons who worked (served) for at least six months from June 22, 1941 to May 9, 1945, and those who were not awarded orders and medals of the former USSR for selfless labor and impeccable military service in the rear during the Great Patriotic War - a copy of the workbook or copies of other documents containing information about work from June 22, 1941 to May 9, 1945 (a document containing information about the periods of work issued from the place of work, as well as archival institutions, or extracts from orders, personal accounts and payroll statements, or a membership card or accounting card). cards of members of the Communist Party or trade unions, or decisions of commissions to establish work experience, to award pensions, who carried out activities in accordance with previously applicable legislation, or court decisions, or decisions of special commissions, or certificates of entitlement to benefits issued before 1998, or certificates confirming the fact of studying at factory schools), or a copy of a military ID card, or a copy of a certificate containing information about the period of military service from June 22, 1941 to May 9, 1945 in accordance with the Law of April 28, 1995;
2) disabled persons, as well as one of the parents of a disabled person from childhood;
3) kandas;
4)underage
Benefits shall be granted in the amount of 95 (ninety-five) percent of the price established for entering information into the Register, provided that supporting documents are submitted to prove that they belong to any of the categories of persons specified in the paragraph above.

Working hours

The Service Provider works from Monday to Friday in accordance with the established work schedule from 9.00 to 18.30 p.m., except for weekends and holidays according to the Labor Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan with a lunch break from 13.00 to 14.30 p.m.

Web-portal works round the clock, except for technical interruptions due to repair works (when the service recipient applies after working hours, on weekends and holidays, the application acceptance and issuance of the result of rendering the state service is carried out on the next working day according to the Labor Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan).

List of documents required for rendering the state service

When entering information into the Register:
1) application in the form according to Annex 1 of the Regulation;
2) a copy of the work.
Instead of a copy of the work, the application may be accompanied by sketches, drawings, pictures or photographs, and in respect of programs for electronic computer (ECM) or databases - an abstract including the name of the program or database, surname, first name, patronymic (if it is indicated in the identity document) of the author, date of creation, field of application, purpose, functional capabilities, source code (source text), main technical characteristics, programming language, type of the implementing computer;
3) in respect of a composite or derivative work, a copy of the copyright agreement concluded with the author(s) or right holder of the original work shall be submitted in addition. If the composite work uses works of other authors, the term of protection of which has expired as of the date of submission of the application by the beneficiary, the copyright agreement is not required. If the term of protection of the work on the basis of which the derivative work is created has expired, the submission of an author's contract with the author of the main work is not required;
4) for works of religious content, an electronic copy of a positive conclusion of religious expertise shall be additionally submitted.
When making changes to the information in the Register - an application in the form according to Annex 4 to the Rules.

Grounds for denial of services

If the applicant submits an incomplete set of documents, the service provider shall refuse to accept the application.
The Service Provider shall refuse to provide a public service in case of non-compliance with the requirements of Article 9-1 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated June 10, 1996 “On Copyright and Related Rights”.

Other requirements taking into account the peculiarities of rendering public services, including those rendered in electronic form and through the State Corporation

To receive a state service through the web portal, an electronic digital signature is required.

The service recipient has the opportunity to receive information on the procedure and status of the provision of state services in the remote access mode through the “personal cabinet” of the web portal, as well as the Unified contact center.
